Saturday Stash -- Winnings

Wow, what a take!  I was surprised and delighted to win a prize in the Schnibbles Parade of "Docs."  In the note she included with my (heavy!)  prize box, Carrie wrote "Who would have thought a trip to the 'Doc' would result in a prize?"

And what a prize!

A bundle of the complete collection of Cosmo Cricket's circa 1934 for Moda.  That's 30 (count them!) 30 fat quarters.

But wait, there's more:

See that background?  It a HUGE chunk of the background fabric from the collection.

The bundle includes a half-yard panel with lots of fabric postcards and fun quilt labels:

And there's still more:

Carrie, thank you so much!  I'm overwhelmed.

I'm having a wonderful time deciding what to make with this glorious collection.  Right now, I'm leaning toward "Off track" by Cluck Cluck Sew.

What do you think?

To celebrate my windfall, I've decided it's about time to host a giveaway to honor my 100+ followers.

After Carrie's incredible giveaway, WHAT can I offer?  How about 126 charm squares?

"Petite Odile" by French General complements the two charm packs Carrie sent me, "Metropolitan Fair" by Barbara Brackman, and "Fellowship" by Brannock and Patek.

And they're yours -- if you're the commenter picked by the Random Number Generator.  Here is the fine print:

  1. Comment on THIS POST before next Saturday , June 16 by noon MDT. Once only, please!
  2. You must include contact information if you're a No Reply Commenter.  If I can't contact you within 72 hours after noon, June 16, I'll have to choose another entry.  Don't break my heart!
  3. International followers welcome!

Speaking of international . . .

Meanwhile, somewhere in the Western Pacific:

On the deck of the USS George Washington, CVN 73, that's The Younger Son doing PT behind the sailor in the green shirt and red shorts.
