WIP Wednesday

My Little Sailor is coming home on leave in September! So there won't be an October Jelly Roll Party at Ruth's Stitchery.

Which means we'll do the October Jelly Roll quilt in September. Which further means it will be ready in plenty of time for Halloween Decorating!

Yes, the September JRP quilt is made with Moda's "Eerie."

The pattern is "Pirouette" by Daniela Stout at Cozy Quilts.

I love changing up the backgound from plain white or something pastel. I'm using deep purple "Grunge" as the background and bright orange "Grunge" as the accent.

What do you think?

New yarn tomorrow, come back to see what it is!

  1. It's spooky how much I like this! I love the colors you chose.

  2. Fantastic news about Jacob! The quilt looks so good in those deep rich, spooky colours. Gill

  3. Yay your sailor will be home :) How exciting. Enjoy every minute he is home!!!

  4. Love the colors you chose and Grunge is one of my favorite lines for blenders and backgrounds.

  5. I'll bet you will be counting the sleep! I love the colours - deep purple and orange look so good together...
