A Few Changes

Since Google Reader really died, I guess I must "claim" my blog on Bloglovin'. I'll explain later why I'm not happy about this!

<a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/3787178/?claim=yt6bwxcgkb5">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>

I added some "social media" icons over there to the right. Click on the buttons in the right-hand column to:

Or see what I've added to Pinterest (not much!):

Thank you to Carrie for the perfectly pink icons, and Dawn and Karen for the "how to add social media icons" tutorial that even I could follow!

  1. I've been using blog lovin to follow you for a while. I love as it works for me. Change is never really fun.

    1. Have you noticed the "Email me" button doesn't work anymore? I've tried it on my blog, and several others, and it doesn't work for any of them!

  3. I am still following you via GFC through blogger and I am receiving you loud and clear. I also moved my Google reader feed to bloglovin so when I log in there I get another dose of you. So I'm not going to miss you however hard you try to avoid me.

  4. I moved to Bloglovin within days of hearing Google Reader was shutting down. So far it's working well for me. I hope you get used to it too, Marti. :o)

  5. I'm using both Blogger and Bloglovin. I wasn't sure if Blogger would be affected so I thought I better play it safe but it seems to be fine so far. Don't you hate when you get things sorted and then the powers that be decide to change things and you have to sort everything out again? Frustrating.

  6. I disliked that Bloglovin' required me to "claim" my blog, thus marketing them to my readers whether I wanted to or not. I chose to use Feedly instead and am very happy with it.

  7. I added BlogLovin to my blog but as I usually read incoming blog posts on my Dashboard, it didn't really matter to me but I figured it might matter to my Followers. I have had one unsavoury incident on BlogLovin... a most unwanted Follower (think creep) and sadly BlogLovin do not have an option to block this follower.... they are working on it.

Thanks for taking your time to comment. If I don't answer in an email, it's because you're a no-reply commenter and I can't find you!
