The 100 Day Hustle

Eeek!  Do you know there are less than 100 days left in 2012?

How many projects need to be completed before December 31?

Kelsey is hosting a Link-Up to help us get those pesky UFOs finished!

Kelsey Sews

I've been steadily working at UFO completion for nearly two years now.  So why do I still have so many?  The Front Range Modern Quilt Guild is also sponsoring "UFOctober," so I pulled out all my UFOs and started a list. My list is partially "what must be finished" and partially "from closest to being finished to furthest from being finished."

Must Do/Have Deadline
  1.  I Spy Quilt for Anya
  2. "Sparkling Cider" in Deb Strain Cherish Nature for niece
  3. "Sparkling Cider" in Deb Strain Cherish Nature for nephew
  4.  Casserole Carrier for Joy

Nearly Finished
  1. "Ups and Downs" in From Little Things by Sarah Fielke
  2. Treasures and Tidbits HST quilt
  3. Autumn Braid
  4. Autumn's Arrival (wall hanging)
Underway, some progress made
  1. Dresden Bloom (30s repros Strip Club)
  2.  Bargello Garden
  3.  Quilt Colorado 2012 Mystery
Cut out, but not started sewing
  1. Thangles Buck-a-Block (red/blue)
  2. Full Moon (batiks Strip Club)
  3. Dot-Dot-Dash (batiks Skip the Borders)
  4. FQF Cobblestone Road
  5.  Kansas Connections (black/white and brights)
Wow, 16 projects cut out, many partially completed.  A few almost finished! Am I the worst UFO collector in the quilty world?  Go to Kelsey Sews and see.

My slogan for October will be "Sew, sew like the wind!"
