A Color Study

Remember this photo on Monday's post?

It was taken by the Younger Son while he was out to sea on the USS George Washington.

Gill in England commented that she would love to see what Kona Cotton colors would be assigned to this photo. So I went to Palette Builder 2.1 and uploaded this portion of the photo. I didn't want the black to be included in the color assignments.

  1. So beautiful! Thanks for doing this - I've taken a screen shot for future use because the combination is stunning. Your Little Sailor certainly has an eye for shots! Gill x

  2. I'm new to the fabric/quilting world and am amazed by the new innovations. It is so cool that you were able to find fabric matching the colors in the photo. Do you have plans for a project using this palette?

Thanks for taking your time to comment. If I don't answer in an email, it's because you're a no-reply commenter and I can't find you!
