Post the First

The 49th quilt for 2011:  Butter Charm and Jelly, pattern by Legacy Patterns (www.makingalegacy.com).  The pattern calls for the same borders on the top and bottom as are on the sides, but since this is a lap quilt, I left them off.  I think it would make an excellent baby quilt -- it's fast, easy, and uses charm squares and a jelly roll.  I even did the quilting myself!  It will go in the mail tomorrow to make it to Idaho for my mother's 92nd (!) birthday next month.

  2. What a lovely first quilt for your 52 in 52! The colors are great. And a lap quilt is so useful for any age.
