The wind is blowing too hard to take a photo outside, so I hung the flimsy over the bedroom window. I'll try another photo when the sun goes behind the mountain, and see if the fabric shows up better.
In the meanwhile, here is my September 13 in 2013 UFO Challenge. The pattern is "Cobblestone Road," by Daniela Stout of Cozy Quilts. The fabric is Circa 1934 by Cosmo Cricket for Moda.

I love the effect of light shining through quilt tops.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a stained glass window with the light shining through. Beautiful! :o)
ReplyDeleteIt looks really nice!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking just what Anne has said, that it looks like stained glass against the window. Lovely quilt, it will be good to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Wendy -- the pattern illustration is made with batiks, think how gorgeous THAT would be over the window!
DeleteI love, LOVE this pattern! Looks like a great top.
