I have a ton of quilt tops that need to be quilted, so it's good I'm being held accountable.

I love your quilt Sandi, and how they each start with a K. Clever idea.

The sewing machine cover is darling, I really want to make one.. or 10. :) let's have fun with our #2!Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17781991040886587275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4707435357217423078.post-27397282898725134462016-03-02T18:35:26.370-07:002016-03-02T18:35:26.370-07:00Still sending you hugs for Oliver.

Susan...Great job everyone, and welcome Jennifer. Susan's is beautiful, and I love the quilting in it. For me and my unfonished UFO's, it depends on what it is. If I am close to having the top completed, then I try to stay with it. If I am weeks grom completion, then I might switch projects. I'm hoping to get caught up in March by finishing both this month's and last month's. So sorry to hear about Olly. Thoughts sent to you and Elder Son. For UFOs which I don't finish depending on how much they still need doing I usually put them away for the next year or pull them out again if I finish a month early. Sorry to hear about Oliver. We love our animals but its always sad when they leave us. Quick question, didn't you tell me the number for this month was 5?Soolihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04703155392258429098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4707435357217423078.post-9671739867700776542016-03-01T09:50:14.582-07:002016-03-01T09:50:14.582-07:00Hi Marti, When my daughter first bought her longar...Hi Marti, When my daughter first bought her longarm she quilted for others all the time and had several 'regulars'. After she got married and had children she still quilted for a few but only a few of the regulars that she had quilted for already for several years. She also does charity quilts for her church. During that time, my quilts were always at the bottom of the stack since she always did the customers first. After all I was not a paying customer, I only helped buy the machine and house it for many years. In the stack above, there are some I had trouble finding the binding for since they had been in her sewing room for several years. She does still have more of mine to quilt and is attempting to whittle down the pile of both of our quilt tops now that the kids are a little older and do not demand constant attention. She may decide to quilt for others again and believe me she is very good, but between work, family, church and what she already has she has not been able to carve out the time to do that. Only time will tell is she will do that again. The first time it helped make her sewing machine payments. Maybe she will decide to upgrade and need to do that again.
